I am working on a large scale infrastructure project and we are looking to adopt OpenBIM standards to improve collaboration; data exchange; and project efficiency.
Our project involves multiple stakeholders; including architects; engineers; contractors; and government agencies; and spans several years with a substantial budget.

What are the essential steps to get started with OpenBIM in a large-scale project? How do we ensure all stakeholders are on board and understand the benefits and requirements?
Which software tools and platforms have you found most effective for managing OpenBIM workflows? Are there any that particularly excel in handling large datasets and facilitating seamless data exchange?
How do you manage data integrity and interoperability across different software and platforms? What strategies do you use to ensure data consistency and avoid information loss during exchanges? 
What are some common challenges you have encountered while implementing OpenBIM; and how did you overcome them? Any lessons learned or pitfalls to avoid would be incredibly helpful.
