Due to the postponement of the Oslo Summit to June 8-11 Read the full bSI statement , you are invited to an Expert Panel on March 24th to provide an interim progress report of the IFC Tunnel Project (Phase 1).
This Expert Panel will present the progress to-date towards completing the requirements analysis phase of the IFC Tunnel extension.
As one of our valued IFC experts, we seek your input at key milestones during the development of the project to ensure international consensus is maintained as part of the bSI standards process. Learn more about the bSI standards process here

Background
The IFC Tunnel project, part of the second wave of IFC for Infrastructure Extensions, is being developed by the Infrastructure Room within buildingSMART International. The aim of the project is to extend the IFC data model into the tunnel domain by describing the semantics and geometry of a typical tunnel.
Phase 1 of the project is the requirements analysis stage, where we are developing the use-cases, process diagram and taxonomy for the tunnel domain.
Missed the last webinar?
In November 2019, we held our first Expert Panel webinar where we presented our draft scope statement and use cases. The event was well attended, with over 220 participants registered from 37 countries.
During the webinar we received a large number of questions from the audience. The Project team has carefully considered these and we have now published our responses. If you missed the webinar (or want to refresh your memory) a recording is now available to view.
