Can anybody recommend a Pset for defining the a reinforcing bar lap length start and end values? Presently I adopt a user-defined Pset within IfcGroup which is used to group bars of the same type in a range.
We’ve had to do a user-defined custom property and property set for the US BIM for Bridges and Structures work for this as well. But we apply it at the individual bar level, not the IfcElementAssembly.REINFORCEMENT_UNIT (which we interpreted as the best usage for groups or “cages”) of rebar, not IfcGroup.
