How do I categorise flashings in IFC?

I am modeling some flashings (waterproofing flashing at junctions between building elements) and I am wondering what IFC product it is?

Looking at the spec I see " IfcDiscreteAccessoryType" and “IfcCovering” as two potential candidates. I’m not yet sold on either.

Ideas?

Bumping this thread because I still have no idea how to categorise flashing :wink:

Note that there are different types of flashings: such as ridge flashings, barge flashings, valley flashings, etc.
