When we decouple geometry and semantics we better can see which areas still need improvements
Let’s focus just on geometry:
There’re a lot of different geometry (modeling) paradigms that each one is good for an or some specific purpose(s), for instance, some are good for geometric visual representation, other in some analysis and simulations, other in other areas like geometric behaviors like chemical behaviors/reactions, so on
So IFC schema has to support all of these paradigms and even in DTV add a specific attribute to be able to specify each model should be modeled with which paradigm/paradigms? And for which purpose or porpuses?
