IfcSurfaceCurveSweptAreaSolid does not consistently orient the swept profile

Hi @ian,

well an MVD can have several exchanges and in case of RV1.2 there are 3:

  1. Architectural Reference Exchange
  2. MEP Reference Exchange
  3. Structural Reference Exchange

You can find the table for element definitions in Scope -> Reference View beneath 1.1.8.8. It would make sense to have the connection to Exchanges also in the object page but this is currently not the case. You can only see “Definitons applying to Reference View”, so, the entire MVD on that page and no specific Exchange references. Maybe I overlooked something but this seems to be the current state of the documentation.

I’ll bring it up with the Software Certification team. It may just be a small oversight in how the database entries were composed for the new IFC4 programme over the previous IFC2x3. I agree there should be more consistency.
