# IFC4 DesignTransferView Geometry

Hi,

Which geometry descriptions are allowed for a DesignTransfer? Are B-Rep allowed? In my understanding, a transfer via B-Rep loses all parametrics and the elements cannot be changed in other software.  
What does this mean for software that only exports B-Rep?
